Internship at the International Relations Office of the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków

From April 14 to 18, 2025, the Head of the Office for International Cooperation, Associate Professor Tetiana Storchova, completed a training placement at the International Relations Office of the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków within the framework of the EU Erasmus+ Programme.

The objectives of the mobility included: exchanging knowledge and experience regarding participation in the EU Erasmus+ Programme; familiarizing with the core elements of “internationalization at home” to foster a deeper understanding of global and regional trends among academic staff and students; strengthening international cooperation between institutions to support innovative research and knowledge sharing; and promoting Ukrainian and Polish studies at the international level.

As a result of the training, connections were established with office specialists Anna Knych-Sałach and Joanna Pajerska, and with Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator (Partner Countries) Dr. Regina Kozik. A significant component of the placement involved learning about the procedures for preparing KA1 project proposals, the process of academic credit recognition within international educational mobility, and the preparation of students for participation in calls announced by partner universities, among other topics.

The EU Erasmus+ Programme continues to transform the approach to ensuring quality in academic mobility for participants in Ukraine’s educational process!

Working together for the victory!
