22 October is a special day for everyone who considers themselves part of Ohiienko University. Today, Kamianets-Podilskyi Ivan Ohiienko National University celebrates the 108th anniversary of its founding. These 108 years represent an entire era, hundreds of success stories, thousands of graduates, and generations of academic staff and students who, through their work, knowledge, and talent, have shaped and continue to shape the University’s history.
The history of our University is the story of those who laid its foundations, developed its academic schools, taught and mentored young people, opened up new horizons, and remained faithful to university traditions even in the most challenging times.
Today, Ohiienko University is a place where ideas are born, talents flourish, individuals grow, and plans for the future take shape. It is our students, who dare to dream and achieve their goals; our academic and administrative staff, who devote their knowledge and heart to our shared mission every day; and our graduates, who carry the University’s name across the world and enhance its reputation through their achievements.
We believe that the best chapters in the history of Ohiienko University are yet to be written, and we will write them together – through our dedication, mutual support, passion for our work, and love for our native Ukraine.
On the occasion of the University’s 108th anniversary, we wish everyone who contributes to its present-day achievements good health, inspiration, prosperity, the fulfilment of their aspirations, and joy in our shared successes. May the voices of students always fill our lecture halls, bold ideas continue to emerge, and the pursuit of knowledge remain at the heart of university life.
