Kamianets-Podilskyi Ivan Ohiienko National University (K-PNU) is a state-owned organization, recognized as a higher education institution of the 4th (the highest) level of accreditation, which was founded in 1918.
The grand purpose K-PNU is to promote the modernization of Ukrainian society through the provision of high-quality educational services and the implementation of innovative scientific research, the training of competitive specialists for educational and other fields with a high level of general and professional competences, developing the readiness for the challenges of the future.
Its structure includes 7 faculties, 1 institute and 35 departments. The educational process at the university is provided by 372 academics, including 55 Doctors of Science and 247 PhDs. Currently 5,017 holders of higher education degrees “Bachelor”, “Master”, “Doctor of Philosophy” are studying. The University trains specialists according to educational and professional programs of various levels, in particular: 35 specialties in the first (bachelor’s) level of higher education; 31 specialties of the second (master’s) level of higher education; 7 specialties of the third (educational-scientific/ educational-creative) level of higher education.
The university has more than 95 thousand graduates. There are 20 scientific schools, 10 scientific research centers, 21 scientific research laboratories. K-PNU library accumulates 1,031,156 approx. documents.
K-PNU participates in the projects of such international programs as Erasmus+ (KA 171: Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Italy, Spain, Lithuania), CBHE – Digitalization of economic as an element of sustainable development of Ukraine and Tajikistan / DigEco
