On November 7, 2024, as part of the BusinessLocus for Girls project, which officially began on November 4, 2024, an online meeting was held with participants of the Ukrainian-Polish exchange program. These students, currently studying at the Poznań University of Economics and Business (PUEB) in Poznań, Poland, met with members of the Youth Council under the Mayor of Kamianets-Podilskyi: Yuliia Franchuk, Ivanna Adazhii, Sofiia Tkachuk, Karina Shafieieva, Dmytro Kindilevych, Yelyzaveta Medvid, and Violetta Baburyk.
The event, held in the Digital Economy Training Laboratory of the Department of Business Economics at Kamianets-Podilskyi Ivan Ohiienko National University (K-PNU), was attended by students from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Economics and the Faculty of Foreign Philology. Joining them were Vadym Mendohralo, Deputy Mayor for Executive Bodies of the Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council; Hennadii Besarabchuk, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and International Relations; and Tetiana Storchova, Head of the Office for International Cooperation.
In the lecture hall at the Poznań University of Economics and Business, K-PNU and PUEB students participating in the exchange were joined by faculty, including Nataliia Mazur, Doctor of Economics and Head of the Department of Business Economics; Oksana Kushnir, PhD in Economics and Associate Professor in the same department; Dr. Dariusz Nowak, Professor and Head of the Department of Enterprise Resource Management; and Alina Matuszak-Flejszman, Doctor Habilitatus and Director of the Institute of Management.
Representatives from the Youth Council gave a presentation on the council’s activities and initiatives in Kamianets-Podilskyi. In a welcoming atmosphere, the participants discussed future cooperation, including the implementation of a memorandum between the institutions, initiated by the Poznań University of Economics and Business.
The project, supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, is ongoing, with many more exciting events ahead.
