Preparations for the training for the academic staff of K-PNU within the framework of the international program Multiplication Training for Higher Education Administrators in Ukraine (THEA Ukraine X) – multiplication training for representatives of the management of higher education in Ukraine in the field of internationalization – are underway.
The first meeting of the organizers, trainers and six new participants of the program took place on February 08, 2024 https://inter.kpnu.edu.ua/uk/2024/02/12/9832/.
Tetiana STORCHOVA, Head of the Office for International Cooperation, works in tandem with Vitalii KOLESNYK, an experienced trainer of THEA Ukraine X program, who is a representative of Sumy State University (Sumy State University).
It is worth noting that Sumy State University has been implementing about 300 projects of various levels and scales annually in recent years. Over the past 5 years, the volume of research work under international grant projects has increased 20 times. One of the main grantors is the European Commission, primarily through the Erasmus+ and Horizon 2020 programs (according to https://sumdu.edu.ua/uk/international/international-info/umz.html). Today, Sumy State University is implementing 34 projects under the Jean Monnet program of the EU Erasmus+ Program https://erasmusplus.org.ua/baza-proyektiv/
The tandems began careful preparation for the trainings. In particular, the project idea of the International Relations Department of the K-PNU Project_HUB https://inter.kpnu.edu.ua/uk/project-hub/ is being detailed and improved in accordance with the requirements of the THEA Ukraine X program.
After the kick-off meeting (08.02.24), two online tandem group meetings have already been held, during which Vitalii KOLESNYK provides invaluable project management advice and shares his experience in compiling the training content, taking into account all the important details of involving various activities and forms of cooperation of the training participants, a carefully developed action plan, etc.
All the efforts of the participants of the international program THEA Ukraine X are aimed at the effective result of training of the academic staff of our alma mater and for the future successful project applications of the Jean Monnet University of the EU Erasmus+ Program.
