Presentation of DigEco project for stakeholders in K-PNU

Presentation of the project of EU Program Erasmus+ DigEco for stakeholders took place on March, 24 in Kamianets-Podilskyi Ivan Ohiienko National University.

The project “Digitalization of economic as an element of sustainable development of Ukraine and Tajikistan” 618270-EPP-1-2020-1-LT-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP aims to introduce the digital economy in the higher education process of Ukraine and Tajikistan. Together with European partners, K-PNU has already begun modernizing the educational programs of both the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Economics and other faculties from the creation of opportunities for inclusive education in the digital economy and involvement of stakeholders in the educational process.

Serhii Kopylov, Rector of K-PNU, coordinator of the DigEco project addressed the participants of the meeting with a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of implementing the project tasks for the university, the city, the region and the country as a whole.

DigEco partners from the State Higher Educational Institution Pryazovskyi State Technical University – Kateryna Polupanova, Head of the Department of International Projects and Victoria Honchar, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Head of the Department of Marketing and Business Administration joined the online greeting.

The Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding was represented by Liliia Filipishyna, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Economics and Organization of Production, Deputy of the Pervomaisk District Council of the Mykolaiv Region.

The participants of the meeting were greeted by Volodymyr Yuriev, the Deputy Head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional State Administration and Mykhailo Simashkevych, the Head of the Kamianets-Podilskyi District Council, who emphasized the importance of digitalization for the development of the city and district communities. In particular, Volodymyr Yuriev noted that the regional state administration has started cooperation with a powerful foreign investor.

During the meeting, the employers discussed the main general and special professional competencies that a graduate of Ohiienko University should obtain and the leading role of stakeholders in the professional development of students.
