K-PNU participation in the project «Management of Internationalisation and German-Ukrainian Academic Cooperation 2022-2023 (MoI Ukraine)» continues, implemented with the support of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, DAAD, Leibniz University Hannover (Germany) and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

The goal of the «MoI Ukraine» project is to provide participants from Ukrainian HEI with knowledge about various aspects of internationalization and to teach them internationalization management, as well as to develop German-Ukrainian cooperation.

From March 16 to 25, 2023, Oleksandra Shamarina, leading specialist of the Office for International Cooperation, and 15 other representatives of the international offices of Ukrainian universities took part in the second offline workshop within the project.

During 10 intense working days, the project participants visited:

    1. DAAD Head Office (German Academic Exchange Service) in Bonn. Representatives of Ukrainian universities had the opportunity to communicate with the DAAD management, to voice their issues and needs for supporting education during the war.

        1. The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, where the participants were introduced to the possibilities of academic exchanges for Ukrainian researchers and scientists
        2. German Rectors’ Conference, he Town Hall of Hannover,

        1. The international office of Leibniz University Hannover, where during the week the participants were given various trainings and presentations every day: workshops on conflict management in education, organization of international academic mobility; presentations about higher education in China, Brazil, India.

    All workshop participants presented the projects they are implementing at their universities. Oleksandra Shamarina presented the «Academic Mobility Platform» project. The goal of the project is to popularize international academic mobility programs among K-PNU students and increase their motivation to participate in such programs.

    Dr. Birgit Barden–Läufer, Head of the International Office of Leibniz University Hannover, presented the participants of the second offline workshop with certificates for the successful implementation of projects at their universities.
