Our university won the competition for participation in the project «Management of Internationalisation and German-Ukrainian Academic Cooperation 2022-2023 (MoI Ukraine)», implemented with the support of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, DAAD, Leibniz University Hannover (Germany) and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

Among the participants of the project are representatives of international offices of 16 universities from all over Ukraine. K-PNU is represented by Oleksandra Shamarina, leading specialist of the Office for International Cooperation of K-PNU.

The goal of the «MoI Ukraine» project is to provide participants from Ukrainian HEI with knowledge about various aspects of internationalization and to teach them internationalization management, as well as to develop German-Ukrainian cooperation. The training will consist of 5 modules:

  1. Background knowledge of internationalization
  2. Competencies on the design and management of internationalization
  3. Soft skills
  4. Management skills
  5. Practical part

Within 18 months, all participants will implement projects on the internationalization development in their HEI. The “Academic Mobility Platform” will be launched at K-PNU, which is aimed at increasing the quantitative and qualitative indicators of academic mobility.

On January 12, the first organizational online meeting of “MoI Ukraine” participants took place, coordinated by Nataliia Butych, representative of the international office of Leibniz University Hannover. During the meeting, the participants got acquainted with the detailed program of the project, had the opportunity to ask questions and receive comprehensive answers.

So, 18 intense months of fruitful and responsible work on the way of K-PNU internationalization are ahead…
