From October 14-18, #ErasmusDays2024 took place at K-PNU, showcasing a five-day series of engaging events to introduce university students to the opportunities within the EU Erasmus+ program and promote experience-sharing.
The week began on October 14 with an introduction to Erasmus+, where former participants Nika Kovalska (Catholic University, Ružomberok, Slovakia) and Anastasіia Ninadovska (University of Gdańsk, Poland) shared their insights, experiences, and motivations with attendees.
The speakers, Vita Konovalchuk, Lead Specialist for International Academic Mobility, and Yelyzaveta Netecha, Lead Specialist for Project Activities in the International Relations Department, spoke about academic mobility and EU Erasmus+ project initiatives.
On October 15, an Erasmus+ program quest allowed the most active students to test their knowledge and skills. Meanwhile, academic staff participated in a discussion, sharing their experiences with implementing the KA171 program. The meeting took place in a mixed format, with online contributions from Tetiana Storchova, Head of International Relations, who was attending Erasmus+ Staff Week at Sapienza University in Rome, Italy, and Oksana Pochapska, PhD in Social Communications and Associate Professor of Journalism.

Congratulations to the Erasmus+ quest winners: Volodymyr Prokopchuk (Foreign Philology), Valeriia Brihidina (Physics and Mathematics), Kateryna Vasylynchuk and Alina Kovalchuk (Ukrainian Philology and Journalism), Kateryna Polishchuk and Viktoriia Antoniuk (Pedagogy), and Liza Prysiazhna and Nelia Vasylyk (Special Education, Psychology, and Social Work).
On October 16, Nataliia Slipachuk, Head of Germanic Languages and Foreign Literature, led a workshop, “Stop Letting Your English Level Hold You Back,” encouraging students to overcome language barriers in speaking English.
On October 17, students had the chance to learn more about dream trips available through the Erasmus+ program. Victoriia Bodnaruk, a student from the Faculty of Education and a leading specialist in the International Relations Department for International Academic Mobility, shared her experience studying at Gdańsk University in Poland, while Olena Samar, a student from the Faculty of Foreign Philology, talked about her studies at Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, Slovakia. Additionally, an event was held on new Erasmus+ project opportunities, including Jean Monnet and CBHE projects, featuring speakers Yelyzaveta Netecha, a leading specialist in the International Relations Department for Project Activities, and Nataliia Mazur, a Professor in the Department of Business Economics.
On October 18, we held the “Test Your Knowledge” quiz to assess students’ understanding of the EU Erasmus+ program. The day concluded with an online meeting featuring university students: Tetiana Moiseieva, a student from the Faculty of Foreign Philology currently on a mobility program at the University of Sapienza in Rome, Italy, and Marharyta Kozeratska, also from the Faculty of Foreign Philology, who participated in the mobility program for two semesters at Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, Slovakia.
