On April 8–9, 2025, a training titled “Project_HUB_2025” was held for the academic staff of Kamianets-Podilskyi Ivan Ohiienko National University. The trainer was Tetiana Storchova, Head of the Office for International Cooperation and a participant of the THEA Ukraine X Program (Cohort 3).
The event opened with welcome speeches from Professor Serhii Kopylov, Rector of the University, and Hennadii Besarabchuk, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences and Vice-Rector for Academic and International Affairs.
On April 8, Vitalii Kolesnyk, PhD in Technical Sciences from Sumy State University and trainer of THEA Ukraine X, joined the training. He presented Sumy State University’s experience in international project activities, including the structural levels of grant activity organization, the organizational structure for interaction processes, and the university’s overall experience in international cooperation.
The training focused on presenting the opportunities of the EU Erasmus+ Programme, particularly the Jean Monnet Module. Over the course of two days, participants developed a project-oriented mindset, worked actively in teams, discussed the priorities of the European Union and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and identified potential areas for international cooperation.
Special attention was paid by Ms. Tetiana to the development of competencies in project writing, strategic planning, and intercultural communication. Faculty members familiarized themselves with examples of successful European studies projects, developed concepts for their own initiatives, and received practical guidance on how to submit project proposals. They also took part in a selfie contest, learnt how to identify and engage with stakeholders for their projects, and laid the foundation for planning the work package of a project application.
In 2025, a Project_HUB course was developed for participants on the university’s MOODLE platform, which collects all useful and necessary materials for working on a grant proposal.
We extend our sincere thanks to Tetiana Volodymyrivna for her professionalism, inspiration, and willingness to share her valuable knowledge and experience! Her expert support and enthusiasm were key to the success of the training and inspired participants to pursue new achievements in the field of international educational projects.
