On February 7, 2025, a meeting took place between Hennadii Besarabchuk, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and International Relations of K-PNU, and Tetiana Storchova, Head of the Office for International Cooperation of K-PNU, with Serhii Moroziuk, Director of the municipal institution Center for Professional Development of Educational Staff of Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council and moderator of professional communities for heads of educational institutions and deputy heads of general secondary education institutions.
The meeting focused on opportunities for cooperation between K-PNU and the Center for Professional Development of Educational Staff of Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council within the framework of the European Union’s eTwinning Program.
As a result of the online meeting, joint decisions were made to enhance the visibility and impact of the European policies of the eTwinning Program on the development of school education in Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council and the training of future teachers at K-PNU.
The implementation of the eTwinning initiative in Ukraine facilitates the integration of Ukrainian educators (teachers, lecturers, heads of educational institutions, future teachers—students of pedagogical universities and colleges—, policymakers, and government officials responsible for educational policy, as well as educational institutions) into the European Educational Area and the European educational community.
In 2025, the eTwinning community celebrates its 20th anniversary. Over the past 20 years, the EU eTwinning Program has brought together 1.2 million teachers from 295,000 schools across 46 countries, implementing over 160,000 projects that have reached more than 3 million students (according to https://etwinning.org.ua/about/).
