At the start of ETwinning Europe from Erasmus+ in K-PNU
On June 18, 2024, a meeting of the scientific and pedagogical staff of K-PNU with representatives of the National eTwinning Support Office – Ukraine was held, during which they considered the issue of joining the European Commission’s eTwinning Program in the field of ‘eTwinning for Future Teachers’.
Svitlana Kalashnikova, Program Coordinator, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Advisor to the Directorate of the Institute of Higher Education of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Member of the National Team of Experts on Higher Education Reform in Ukraine, presented the opportunities of the eTwinning Program and its functionality; Natalia Bazeliuk, Communications Manager, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences, Senior Researcher, Specialist in Teacher Training and Educational Comparative Studies, revealed the procedure for registering academic staff and higher education students. The meeting was attended by members of the team of the National eTwinning Support Office – Ukraine Liubov Shchitka, education expert, teacher of foreign literature at the Valerii Marchenko School No. 175 in the Shevchenko district of Kyiv (experience in the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (international cooperation)), and Olena Lytovchenko, event manager.
Hennadii Besarabchuk, Vice-Rector for Scientific-pedagogical Work and International Cooperation of K-PNU, emphasized the importance of our university’s participation in the ETwinning Europe Program in the context of forming the regional leadership of Ohiienko University, new opportunities for international cooperation and professional development of educators, implementation of joint projects, participation in national and European professional development events, obtaining national and European quality awards, participation in international and national conferences, prospective development and improvement.
Tetiana Storchova, Head of the Office for International Cooperation and contact person from K-PNU in the Program, expressed support for the implementation of eTwinning initiatives in Ukraine that will contribute to the effective integration of the K-PNU community into the European Education Area.
