A two-day Project_HUB training within the framework of THEA Ukraine X took place at Ohiienko University.
On May 28-29, 2024, an intensive two-day Project_Hub training was held as part of the international THEA Ukraine X Programme, in which Ohiienko University participates.
Dr. Sonja Mikeska, Quality Management and International Cooperation, THEA manager, University of Applied Sciences Münster (Germany) and Svitlana Myronova, Doctor of Pedagogic Sciences, Professor, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of K-PNU, welcomed the participants.
Among the speakers:
- Vitalii Kolesnyk, PhD in Engineering, Sumy State University, THEA Ukraine X trainer, who presented the experience of international project activities of Sumy State University: structural levels of organization of grant activities at Sumy State University; organizational structure of building interaction processes; experience of international activities of Sumy State University.
- Olena Tupakhina, PhD in Philology, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, International and Project Activities of Zaporizhzhia National University, made a presentation on “Jean Monnet Modules: Secrets of a Successful Application.” She not only shared valuable recommendations for working with a project application under the Jean Monnet Module of the EU Erasmus+ Programme, but also engaged the participants in active interaction.
- Petro Krainik, Project Manager of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine for the Jean Monnet Programme, spoke on the topic “Jean Monnet 2024: Key Aspects”, where he drew attention to the important technical steps of filling out and submitting a project application.
- Vadym Mendohralo, Deputy Mayor of the Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council, shared his experience of implementing the project approach in local governments.
- Yuliia Franchuk, a representative of the NGO Podilskyi Bioregion, a member of the youth council at the Kamianets-Podilskyi Mayor’s Office, presented a report on “Active Youth: From Idea to Action” about successfully implemented youth projects and other prospects for the youth council.
The participants of the training developed their own grant ideas, developed sketches of their projects in the field of the Jean Monnet Module of the EU Erasmus+ Programme and presented their own pitches in a creative way, took part in a selfie competition, learned to identify and collaborate with stakeholders for their projects, and laid the foundation for further planning of the project application work package. A course was developed for the participants on the university’s MOODLE platform, which contains all the useful and necessary materials for working on a grant application.
Ohiienko University expresses its sincere gratitude to Sumy State University, THEA Ukraine X Programme coordinator and program trainer Vitalii Kolesnyk, who was directly involved in the preparation and conduct of the training, accompanied the academic staff of K-PNU in improving project ideas and provided valuable advice on developing project thinking skills.
The training was delivered by trainer Tetiana Storchova, Head of the Office for International Cooperation, and assistants Yelyzaveta Netecha, Leading Specialist of the Office for International Cooperation (Project Activities), and Tetiana Lazarenko, Head of the Training Laboratory of the Department of Business Economics.
