In the direction of Ukraine’s integration into the European Higher Education Area, on February 14, 2024, a meeting was held with the university’s academic staff as part of the advanced training of academic staff “Improving the professional competence of academic staff as a guarantee of quality educational activities at K-PNU”, organized by the university’s educational and methodological department.
The speakers, PhD of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the International Relations Department Tetiana Storchova and Academic Mobility Officer and Office Coordinator Oleksandra Shamarina, introduced the teachers to the strategic directions of the university’s internationalization work, in particular the development of project activities within the EU Erasmus+ program, the expansion of international and internal academic mobility, the implementation of “internationalization at home” and the Jean Monnet grant project, which opens up new prospects for the development of our alma mater. It is this area of the EU Program (European Studies) that is a priority for the internationalization process of K-PNU, as teaching and research projects contribute to the development of science, the dissemination of knowledge on European integration, and the popularization of the university.
Academic mobility makes a significant contribution to the development of international activities even in times of war. Higher education applicants can choose various forms of mobility: study, internships, research internships, educational and scientific internships, language internships, etc. We are proud that students, as well as teachers, are actively involved, developing, gaining experience and working for the future development of the university!
The meeting was held in an extremely interactive and productive atmosphere.
Office for International Cooperation is grateful to the Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Educational and Methodological Department Natalia Hudyma for a good platform for communication with teachers, which is an extremely effective form of cooperation. Let’s get to work!
